Bishop KJ Rogers was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He is the third child of two other siblings, husband of Amy L. Rogers, and Father of five. He attended the Public School System of Forsyth County. His rearing in the church was by his god mothers and auntie they were the instruments in his spiritual development.

In 1981 Bishop Rogers was called to preach the Gospel of Christ at the early age of 8. In 1983 received his license to minister at the age of 10 years old, at 17years old ordained an Elder in the True Vine Pentecostal Church of Jesus in 1989 under the leadership of the late Dr. R.L. Hairston.

He was consecrated as the youngest episcopate and appointed to the office of junior Bishop in the Pentecostal Holiness Church of God in Christ, Incorporated by the late bishops E.W. Yancey, R.H Farris, and R. Goodwin & J.H King.

Bishop Rogers matriculated studies at Augustine De Leon Bible Institute Seminary. He holds a diploma of Biblical Studies from Augustine Deleon Bible Institute & Seminary; Bishop Rogers was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity from Augustine Deleon Bible Institute & Seminary in 1999. And a Bachelors of Theology, Masters of Theology, Doctorate of Philosophy in Religious Education New Life theological Seminary-Williams –Clemons-Davis bible Institute Orangeburg, SC. Doctorate of Divinity from E. L. White Seminary Prichard, AL. Doctorate of Theology, Sacramento Theological Seminary, Sacramento, CA. Award certificate of Chaplaincy OnPoint International Chaplain Association, Decatur, GA.

Bishop Rogers’s ministerial services has crossed various denominations from supply minister to associate pastor He is the CEO of the K.J. Rogers Community Development Corporation; Unity Publishers, K.J. Rogers Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. He serves as the Chief Protector of the Reformed Churches of God in Christ International.
